About the Role
Clio is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Development & Learning for a 14-month contract (parental leave cover) to lead the TD&L team, evolve talent management programs, and drive AI fluency across the organization.

Responsibilities
- Lead a high performing team of TD&L professionals, directly responsible for mentorship and development of people managers and portfolio leads.
- Evolve and oversee global talent management programs, including annual Talent Systems Cycle, mid year promotion cycle, 360 Feedback, Succession Planning, and more.
- Partner with Sr. Manager of Learning to continuously optimize the Global Onboarding Experience.
- Guide the launch of Leadership Behaviours and integrate them across talent programs; provide strategic direction for leadership development and coaching offerings.
- Play a critical role in building AI capability across the business, partnering to design and deliver enablement programs that grow AI fluency.
- Measure and report on program KPIs, including behavioral change and effectiveness; translate talent data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Drive execution on the TD&L strategy through development of team goals, KPIs, and quarterly/annual roadmaps.
- Partner as a leader in the broader People team, ensuring coordinated efforts across all People functions.
- Oversee learning infrastructure, including LMS, content strategy, vendor relationships, and AI enabled tools.
- Systematically integrate DIBE principles into all talent processes.
- Own reporting and narrative for success, budget utilization, and business impact of all global TD&L initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive HR or Talent Development experience, including leading talent programs and teams in organizations of 2,000+ employees
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing high performing teams
- Deep knowledge of talent management practices including performance management, succession planning, 360 feedback, and career development program design
- Proven experience designing and delivering leadership development programs and learning solutions across all levels of leadership
- Hands on experience leading or working alongside learning experience designers and with LMS, course authoring tools, content libraries, and AI enabled solutions
- AI fluency and forward thinking
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust and drive alignment across stakeholders

Summary
- We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Development & Learning to join our People team on a 14 month contract (parental leave cover).
- The ideal candidate will be located in Vancouver, BC, but we are open to candidates in our other Canadian hub locations (Calgary and Toronto).
