- Experience in managing procurement for complex technical projects
- Commercial and financial acumen with whole life cost modelling
- Knowledge of Supplier Furnished Equipment (SFE) and Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Procurement Team, aligning procurement practices with operational strategy and long term business goals.

- Shape and implement best in class procurement operating models and processes across functions.
- Provide actionable insights and data backed recommendations to optimize procurement and contracting operations.
- Knowledge of aviation technical certification requirements and compliance.
- Manage full lifecycle procurement and contracting activities for major technical and capital projects.
- Lead contract negotiation, and performance tracking.
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory frameworks and internal governance.
- Engage cross functionally with internal stakeholders, technical leads, and finance to align procurement strategies with operational needs.
- Supervise and mentor the procurement team to achieve high standards in delivery, reporting, and compliance.
- Identify and drive initiatives to streamline procurement processes and systems.
- Lead implementation of risk management and control frameworks to reduce procurement risks.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field with minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement of which at least 5 years must have been in an aviation environment.
- Proven experience of at least five (5) years in aviation technical procurement.
- Experience in managing procurement for complex technical projects and contract operations.
- Commercial and financial acumen, with experience in whole life cost modelling.
- Strong background in project/change management and procurement process optimization.
- Deep expertise in Procurement & Contracts Management.
- Aviation Procurement and Technical Sourcing (minimum 5 years).
- In depth knowledge of Supplier Furnished Equipment (SFE) and Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE).
- Financial Analysis (whole life costing) experience.
- Contract and Negotiation Skills.
- Regulatory and Compliance knowledge (including SB’s, STC’s and EUU’s).
