Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of fund financial statements and reports in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Ensure financial information is accurate and collaborate with auditors, administrators, tax consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure timely submission of financial and regulatory reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Prepare VAT and corporate tax declarations and ensure timely filings.
• Prepare forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for the asset management business.
• Track asset management KPIs and provide financial insights on risks and opportunities.
• Generate regular performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support budgeting for funds and asset management and track performance against budget.
• Monitor expenses, invoicing, settlements, and payments and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Implement financial controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks and report compliance or financial risks to senior management.
• Support internal audits by preparing required financial documentation and reports.

Skills and Experience

• 10 or more years of post-qualification experience in the finance function of a large bank or asset management firm.
• Experience in financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and forecasting within banking or asset management.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA are advantageous.
• Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in financial management systems and software.
