Role Overview

  • Seeking experienced Senior Manager – Account Maintenance Unit (AMU) to lead account maintenance operations.
  • Full time position based in Qatar.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • 10–15 years of banking operations experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in account maintenance, customer onboarding, account administration, CIF management, or retail banking operations.
  • Proven experience managing high volume operational teams within a regulated financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of KYC, AML, FATCA, CRS, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and banking regulatory requirements.
  • Professional certifications in Banking, Operations, Risk Management, or Compliance are highly preferred.
  • Hands on experience with Core Banking Systems (Temenos T24, Finacle, Flexcube, or equivalent).

Skills & Competencies

  • Expertise in leading account maintenance operations while ensuring service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Capable of managing customer account updates, mandates, authorized signatories, restrictions, and account lifecycle activities.
  • Adept at driving operational excellence through process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience implementing operational controls, monitoring risk indicators, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in preparing management dashboards, operational reports, and performance metrics.
  • Effective leadership in coaching teams, optimizing resources, and fostering a culture of accountability and customer service excellence.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to collaborate across Operations, Branches, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and IT functions.
