Senior Maintenance Manager AMC Service

Role Description

Service and Maintenance Duties

• Manage the Service and Maintenance Department, manpower deployment, technician scheduling, and service performance.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, emergency breakdowns, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Manage AMC and PPM contracts and ensure scheduled visits and service-level requirements are met.
• Maintain commercial kitchen, laundry, refrigeration, electrical, gas, and mechanical systems.
• Provide technical guidance, perform root-cause analysis, and reduce recurring breakdowns and repeat service calls.
• Oversee equipment testing and commissioning and ensure defects are corrected before final handover.

Team, Customer, and Records Management

• Manage and evaluate maintenance supervisors, technicians, electricians, and refrigeration technicians.
• Review spare-parts requirements before procurement to verify specifications and control unnecessary costs.
• Maintain service reports, maintenance records, equipment histories, warranty records, and AMC or PPM documentation.
• Coordinate warranty and after-sales service with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Handle escalated customer complaints and technical concerns.
• Monitor response time, repair time, first-time fix rate, PPM completion, productivity, satisfaction, and maintenance costs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Hold a relevant technical qualification or diploma or degree in engineering or a related field.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Have at least eight years of relevant industry experience, including substantial managerial experience.
• Have experience leading, mentoring, evaluating, and managing maintenance teams.
• Have experience managing Annual Maintenance Contracts and meeting service-level agreements.

Required Capabilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Understand safety regulations, compliance standards, and maintenance best practices.
• Have a good understanding of MEP and commercial kitchen equipment.
• Be proficient with ERP or SAP software.
• Be able to travel from time to time and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
