Role Overview
The Sales Engineer - Aluminum & Glass is a full-time, on-site role in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
The role sells aluminum and glass products and combines technical proposals, product presentations, client management, and project follow-through.
Sales and Project Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities for aluminum and glass products.
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and product presentations.
- Manage client relationships, respond to inquiries, and negotiate terms.
- Follow projects from initial contact through execution.
- Maintain sales records, monitor market trends, and contribute to sales and business development strategies.
Technical Coordination
- Provide technical support and clarify product specifications for customers.
- Read technical drawings and interpret designs for production teams.
- Coordinate with design and production teams to meet customer requirements and project standards.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years of UAE experience is required.
- A valid UAE driver’s license is required.
- A strong network in construction, architecture, interior design, consulting, and aluminum or glass projects is required.
- A proven UAE sales track record with revenue and sales ownership is required.
- Ability to understand aluminum and glass systems, specifications, and technical drawings is required.
- Sales, customer service, technical support, and communication skills are required.
- Relevant construction, aluminum, or internal glass industry experience is beneficial.
- MS Office proficiency is required; basic CAD or similar tool usage is advantageous.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related technical field is preferred.
Work Environment
- The role is on-site and requires managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
