Responsibilities
- Deliver high impact legal counsel on complex regulatory frameworks, including DIFC Operating Law, Federal Laws, and international compliance standards (AML/CFT, CRS, FATCA, ESR)
- Lead client engagements on corporate structuring, entity lifecycle management (incorporation to striking off), and implementation of robust governance protocols
- Act as a primary point of contact and representative for clients in high stakes interactions with regulatory bodies, government authorities, and judicial entities
- Design and oversee the implementation of comprehensive compliance regimes, risk mitigation strategies, and internal governance policies for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Manage complex legal disputes and regulatory investigations, providing strategic direction and representing institutional interests in judicial and quasi judicial proceedings
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the Regulatory & Corporate Services practice and provide mentorship to junior legal talent
Requirements
- Qualified Lawyer with 8 12+ years of PQE in a top tier law firm, a leading regulatory body, or a senior in house role within a highly regulated industry
- Deep Subject Matter Expertise in DIFC legal systems, with a proven track record in regulatory compliance, corporate law, and governance
- Leadership Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, lead teams, and provide strategic advice to C suite executives and senior stakeholders
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills in both English and Arabic
- Emirati nationality required

- Are you a seasoned Emirati legal professional with a passion for regulatory excellence and corporate governance? We are seeking a high caliber Senior Counsel / Legal Director to join our premier Regulatory & Corporate Services practice in Dubai.
- This role is a strategic fit for a professional with AVP level expertise, potentially transitioning from a senior regulatory position such as a Deputy/Assistant Registrar of Companies.
- You will be at the forefront of shaping the regulatory landscape, providing bespoke legal solutions to top tier clients, and ensuring the highest standards of compliance within the DIFC.
Key Responsibilities

Candidate Profile
