The employer is hiring a Senior Internal Auditor to strengthen risk management for a fast-moving retail and e-commerce business.
The role works with audit leadership, owns end-to-end process reviews, shapes the annual controls plan, and drives control improvements across the group.
What You’ll Do
- Lead development of the Annual Controls Review plan by identifying and evaluating key audit risk areas.
- Own process reviews from scoping through draft report and executive summary within budget and in line with IIA standards.
- Review internal controls, fraud risk areas, and compliance with group policies and leading practices.
- Identify audit issues and root causes, recommend improvements, and follow corrective action plans through implementation.
- Conduct special or field audits and investigations into critical areas when requested.
- Contribute to risk assessments, mitigation plans, and the group-wide risk-control library.
- Enhance audit methodology through automation and data analytics.
- Build relationships with process owners and guide or support peers.
What You’ll Bring
- CA, ACCA, or CPA qualification, or an MBA in Finance.
- CIA or CFE certification is an advantage.
- Minimum five years of internal audit experience in the retail or e-commerce sector.
- Strong knowledge of retail and e-commerce business operations.
- Advanced data-analytics capability with hands-on experience using leading tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and professional scepticism.
- Strong organisation and follow-up skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
