A strategic unit in Dubai is hiring an Economic Advisor to identify, validate, and scope high-value economic opportunities.

The position requires strategy expertise, comfort with ambiguity, and stakeholder-heavy problem-solving.
Contract and compensation
- The contract is 12-month rolling.
- Salary is up to AED 60,000 per month, with visa, medical insurance, and annual leave under UAE labour law.
Location and languages
- The role is based in Dubai, UAE, and is on-site.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
Responsibilities
- Run research, expert calls, and stakeholder interviews to understand sector-specific challenges.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to validate pain points and scope the problem.
- Benchmark comparable local and global solutions and best practices.
- Design tailored, innovative, and feasible solutions and pressure-test them with cross-functional teams.
- Present recommendations and secure alignment from senior stakeholders and business owners.
- Facilitate handover to implementing partners with support from a PMO team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in economics, public policy, business administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in management consulting, economic policy, business analysis, or a related field.
- MBB or Big Four strategy background is strongly preferred.
- Strong project-scoping, structured problem-solving, strategic-analysis, and solution-design capabilities.
- Strong understanding of economic-development trends, policy benchmarking, and business-improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential.
