Egis is seeking a Senior Interior Designer focused on site supervision to join its Dubai team.
The role leads interior design projects from concept to completion while ensuring high-quality execution and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
- Oversee on-site implementation of design plans and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors and stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues.
- Manage project timelines, budgets and resources.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address challenges.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations and safety standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers.
- Liaise with clients and present design solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable practices and new materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of interior design experience, focused on site supervision, with at least five years of consultant experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations, particularly in Dubai.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in sustainable design practices.
- Professional certification such as NCIDQ or BIID is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site across various Dubai locations.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
