Role overview
AECOM is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead high-impact interior design projects in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role combines design leadership, client engagement, mentorship, technical excellence, and project delivery oversight.
Responsibilities
- Develop design and construction document drawings from concept through completion.
- Create design presentations, renderings, and sketches for clients and stakeholders.
- Perform space planning and layout analysis for functional and visually strong interiors.
- Apply color theory, materials selection, and aesthetic principles to design solutions.
- Prepare interior architecture specifications, construction documents, and FF&E documentation.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, ADA requirements, and UAE regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage client communication, feedback, and project updates.
- Evaluate vendor documents, materials, and furnishings.
- Mentor less experienced team members and adapt designs to changing requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of professional interior design experience in commercial, corporate, or hospitality projects.
