Role Overview

Support architectural design and technical delivery as a Graduate Concept Architectural Designer under the direction of a Supervising Architect.

Work on technical assignments within approved schedules and budgets while collaborating with design, drafting, and multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic architectural and engineering calculations.
  • Prepare specifications, reports, and related data tables.
  • Maintain liaison with design and drafting groups.
  • Prepare, review, and approve drawings as required.
  • Coordinate technical and administrative activities with other disciplines and departments.
  • Assist in training and evaluating assigned architectural and design or drafting personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Foundational proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and graphic or visualization tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Understanding of architectural principles, building systems, construction materials, and design coordination workflows.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Candidates must meet the graduate-program recency requirement and have a minimum GPA of 3.2.
  • Candidates with more than one year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to BIM workflows is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, teamwork, curiosity, and willingness to develop technical and design capabilities.

Program Timeline

  • Applications open May 4, 2026 and close June 15, 2026.
  • CV review, phone screening, assessments, and technical interviews are scheduled for June and July 2026.
  • Mobilization and visa processing are scheduled for August through September, with start dates from August through October.
  • Graduate program orientation is scheduled for October 2026.

Onboarding

  • Newly hired employees must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
