The work covers water-retaining structures, reservoirs, pump stations, pipeline structures, industrial buildings, treatment units, and associated structures.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare structural calculation reports and design calculations using Excel and in-house software.
- Interpret data from supporting interdisciplinary teams and coordinate with other disciplines.
- Work through the full design-project life cycle under senior engineer supervision.
- Perform and ensure quality-control reviews of design calculations and drawings.
- Apply safety-in-design practices to structural design work.
- Work effectively in a diverse team distributed across multiple geographical locations.
Job Profile
- Three to six years of experience as a structural design engineer is requested, preferably on water and wastewater projects.
- Strong technical skills in structural analysis and design of concrete and steel structures are required.
- Familiarity with international codes, including Eurocodes and American codes of practice, is requested.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Robot, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, or SAP2000 is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Working toward Chartered Engineer status is advantageous.
