About the Role

Responsibilities
- Ensure weather conditions are acceptable for painting/coating
- Monitor performance of contractors and ensure applicators are competent
- Inspect surface preparation, blast profile, and cleanliness
- Monitor wet and dry film thickness and application technique
- Conduct visual inspection and non destructive/destructive tests
- Inspect insulation material and verify storage conditions
- Ensure insulation is applied per line list and isometric
- Inspect refractory installation and monitor applicator qualification
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum years’ experience as Painting/Coating/Insulation/Refractory QC Inspector
- BGAS Gr.II or NACE Level II for Painting/Coating Inspector
- Experience in oil & gas/petrochemical industry
- Previously worked with major EPC contractor or their subcontractors
