Inspection and Certification Duties
- Execute Crane Department inspection services within the authorized scope.
- Inspect, test, and certify lifting equipment, earth-moving equipment, and PPE.
- Perform work according to IMS procedures, applicable standards, codes, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare inspection reports, certificates, checklists, timesheets, and HSE risk assessments through ICCS.
- Ensure activities meet ISO/IEC 17020 and accreditation requirements.
- Coordinate and independently complete assigned projects.
Certification of Persons
- Conduct examinations and certification activities within the Certification of Persons scope.
- Follow examination, recertification, and reset-examination procedures and rules.
- Issue examination records, scores, and certificates.
- Report noncompliance and support other activities required for successful exam operations.
Safety and Professional Conduct
- Follow health and safety procedures during client-site inspections and report newly observed hazards.
- Stop unsafe activities and maintain a hazard-free, environmentally responsible work environment.
- Maintain independence, impartiality, integrity, and confidentiality during inspection activities.
- Maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 7 years of lifting-equipment inspection experience.
