PROJECT MANAGER (IS) - Abu Dhabi

Role Overview

Manpower and Project Coordination

• Develop and execute manpower resourcing strategies for site inspection projects.
• Manage hiring, interviews, selection, recruitment, and onboarding of QA/QC inspectors.
• Maintain a resource pool aligned with project demand forecasts and optimize utilization across projects and locations.
• Lead mobilization and demobilization of inspection teams and resolve staffing shortages or scheduling conflicts.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to maintain adequate staffing levels.

Logistics and Compliance

• Supervise travel, visas, work permits, accommodation, transportation, site access, safety training, and security clearances.
• Coordinate with logistics vendors and internal departments to provide timely and cost-effective deployment support.
• Maintain records of manpower allocation, certifications, mobilization status, visas, permits, and client approvals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local labor laws, client requirements, and technical quality requirements.

Budget and Stakeholder Management

• Develop and manage manpower and logistics budgets covering recruitment, travel, accommodation, and site deployment.
• Track costs and identify optimization opportunities without compromising quality and safety.
• Act as the primary client contact for manpower and logistics matters and provide reports to senior management.
• Lead and mentor resourcing and logistics teams while fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and a safety-first culture.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10–12 years of oil and gas experience, including 4–5 years in project management and manpower planning for ADNOC construction sites.
• Experience managing manpower planning, resourcing, and logistics for large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas project lifecycle, inspection disciplines, international codes, standards, inspection procedures, and QA/QC requirements.
• Strong project management, organizational, communication, reporting, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and budget control skills.
• Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel to project sites within the UAE or outside the country if needed.
• Certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Welding, NDT Level III, or Painting are preferred.
