Role Overview

TÜV SÜD is hiring a Full Stack Python Developer for a role based in Pune.

The role combines React and TypeScript frontend development with Python backend development for logic-heavy, performance-critical, and high-availability systems.

Responsibilities

  • Build responsive, user-friendly React and TypeScript frontend applications with attention to usability and performance.
  • Develop reusable and shared libraries to improve team-wide development efficiency.
  • Integrate services, models, and data pipelines with developers, data scientists, and data engineers.
  • Write automated tests and contribute to CI/CD, test coverage, deployment stability, performance, security, and observability.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, agile delivery, and backlog prioritization.
  • Maintain documentation for APIs, components, integrations, and development guidelines.
  • Deliver code, documentation, automated tests, and technical design artifacts in software increments.

Qualifications

  • Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 5 years of full stack software development experience focused on Python backend and React or TypeScript frontend development.
  • Practical knowledge of API design, asynchronous programming, microservices, object-oriented programming, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Ability to debug end-to-end application flows across backend and frontend boundaries.
  • Experience with secure software development, application security, authentication, authorization, and API security.
  • Strong English communication skills and ability to collaborate independently in agile, international, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and adapt to evolving technologies, domains, and project environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in Linux environments and running or debugging Dockerized backend services locally.
  • Experience with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, test automation, and logging or monitoring practices.

Required Skills and Training

  • Training to maintain and extend technology and programming knowledge is required.
  • Cybersecurity training is required.
  • Advanced courses in DevOps, system architecture, and data management concepts are required.
