Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and management reporting.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, investment analysis, and business planning activities.
• Analyse operational and project financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process across departments and business units.
• Monitor CAPEX and OPEX performance and provide actionable recommendations to optimize costs and profitability.
• Conduct profitability analysis, scenario modelling, and investment performance evaluations.
• Assist management in strategic planning, financial decision-making, and long-term business initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, internal financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, projects, and commercial departments on financial planning initiatives.
• Support financial audits and provide required documentation and analysis.
• Prepare presentations and financial insights for senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CMA, CPA, ACCA, or CFA is preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning, or finance-related roles.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial modelling.
• Experience working in large-scale or multinational organizations is highly preferred.

Industry Knowledge

• Strong understanding of the energy, oil & gas, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
• Knowledge of project finance principles, CAPEX/OPEX analysis, and operational cost structures.
• Familiarity with IFRS and financial compliance standards.
