Responsibilities
- Own full delivery of power EPC projects from contract award through commissioning and handover
- Direct interface between engineering disciplines and construction teams
- Oversee procurement strategy and execution for major equipment packages
- Provide executive oversight of site construction activities
- Maintain rigorous control over project cost and schedule baselines
- Champion zero harm safety culture across all project sites
- Serve as primary interface with client, EPC consortium partners, financiers, and regulatory bodies
- Establish and maintain comprehensive project risk register
- Ensure all project deliverables comply with applicable grid codes and international engineering standards
Requirements
- Minimum 15 18 years of experience delivering large scale EPC power projects
- At least 6 8 years in a Project Director or senior project leadership role on thermal, combined cycle, renewable, or transmission and substation projects
- Proven track record managing multi disciplinary EPC teams and subcontractors through full project lifecycle
- Strong experience in contract administration, claims management, and commercial negotiation on FIDIC or equivalent EPC contract forms
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or related discipline
- Master's Degree in Engineering Management, Project Management, or Business Administration is preferred
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred

Job Purpose
- The Project Director EPC Power provides end to end leadership for the delivery of large scale engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects within the power sector, including thermal, combined cycle, renewable, and transmission and substation projects.

Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree in Engineering Management, Project Management, or Business Administration is preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred
Experience
- Minimum 15 18 years of experience delivering large scale EPC power projects, including at least 6 8 years in a Project Director or senior project leadership role on thermal, combined cycle, renewable, or transmission and substation projects.
- Proven track record managing multi disciplinary EPC teams and subcontractors through the full project lifecycle, from FEED and detailed engineering through construction, commissioning, and performance testing.
- Strong experience in contract administration, claims management, and commercial negotiation on FIDIC or equivalent EPC contract forms, including managing client and consortium relationships on complex, high value power projects.
