Responsibilities
- Establish and implement cost control policies, procedures, and standards across EPC projects
- Ensure consistent application of cost control methodologies, reporting standards, and governance frameworks
- Maintain portfolio level visibility of cost performance, risks, and forecast accuracy
- Lead the preparation, review, and control of project budgets, cost baselines, and forecasts (ETC/EAC)
- Monitor cost performance, cash flow forecasts, commitments, and accruals
- Challenge assumptions, productivity trends, risks, and cost forecasts to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Oversee cost control performance across multiple EPC projects, including large scale and complex projects
- Consolidate project data into portfolio dashboards and executive reports
- Identify cost trends, risks, and opportunities and provide recommendations to senior management
- Provide cost management support for variations, change orders, claims, and commercial negotiations
- Ensure cost impacts are properly assessed, justified, and aligned with contractual requirements
- Support project teams with cost analysis and risk assessments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Cost Control / Project Controls
- Proven experience managing cost control for mega EPC projects within Oil & Gas, Energy, or Power sectors
- Strong experience in multi project or portfolio level cost management
- Solid understanding of EPC contracts, commercial processes, and project execution environments
- Strong expertise in EPC cost management and forecasting
- Portfolio level cost governance and reporting
- Commercial awareness and contract understanding
- Strong leadership and team management skills

Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Control Manager to lead cost governance and performance management across multiple EPC projects within the Oil & Gas and Power sectors.
- The role will act as the corporate cost authority, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and financial control across the project portfolio.
- The successful candidate will provide strategic cost oversight, drive best practices, and lead a team of Cost Control Managers and Cost Engineers to ensure consistency, transparency, and control throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Cost Control / Project Controls.
- Proven experience managing cost control for mega EPC projects within Oil & Gas, Energy, or Power sectors.
- Strong experience in multi project or portfolio level cost management.
- Solid understanding of EPC contracts, commercial processes, and project execution environments.
- International project experience is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, AACE CCP, or equivalent are advantageous.
