Responsibilities
- Own full delivery of digital infrastructure EPC projects from contract award through commissioning
- Direct interface between architectural, electrical, mechanical, and ICT engineering disciplines
- Oversee procurement strategy for long lead and mission critical equipment
- Provide executive oversight of construction activities across data halls and network infrastructure
- Lead integrated systems testing and commissioning process
- Maintain rigorous control over project cost and schedule baselines
- Champion zero harm safety culture across all project sites
- Serve as primary interface with hyperscale clients, technology vendors, and regulatory authorities
- Establish and maintain comprehensive project risk register
- Ensure all project deliverables comply with data center standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 20+ years delivering large scale EPC projects
- At least 10 years in a Project Director or senior project leadership role on data center or telecom projects
- Proven track record managing multi disciplinary EPC teams through full project lifecycle
- Strong experience in contract administration, change order management, and commercial negotiation
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification highly preferred
- Uptime Institute ATD/ATS credentials are an advantage

Job Purpose
- The Project Director Digital Infrastructure provides end to end leadership for large scale EPC projects in digital infrastructure, including data centers, telecom networks, fiber optic backbone, and colocation facilities.
Responsibilities
- End to End EPC Project Leadership: Own full delivery from contract award through commissioning.
- Design & Engineering Interface Management: Direct interface between engineering disciplines.
- Procurement & Critical Equipment Management: Oversee procurement strategy for long lead equipment.
- Construction & Commissioning Oversight: Provide executive oversight and lead IST and commissioning.
- Cost Control, Schedule & Commercial Management: Maintain rigorous control over cost and schedule.
- HSE & Operational Continuity Leadership: Champion zero harm safety culture.
- Client, Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Serve as primary interface with clients and vendors.
- Risk Management & Business Continuity Planning: Establish comprehensive project risk register.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with data center standards and regulatory requirements.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Master's Degree in Engineering Management, Project Management, or Business Administration preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification highly preferred; Uptime Institute ATD/ATS credentials an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 20+ years delivering large scale EPC projects, including at least 10 years as Project Director on data center or telecom projects.
- Proven track record managing multi disciplinary EPC teams through full project lifecycle.
- Strong experience in contract administration, change order management, and commercial negotiation.

- Data Center & Network Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of power, cooling, and network systems.
- Contract & Change Order Management: Advanced capability in EPC contract administration.
- Project Controls & Scheduling: Proficiency in Primavera P6, cost control, and earned value management.
- Commissioning & Integrated Systems Testing: Knowledge of IST and commissioning protocols.
