Role Purpose
The Senior Engineer in Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering leads cross-functional engineering teams developing and qualifying RF systems, power electronics, embedded systems, software, and AI solutions.
The role drives system-level design, testing, validation, innovation, technical excellence, project alignment, and delivery across advanced industrial and defence technologies.
Technical Leadership
- Guide hardware and firmware design teams and ensure compliance with international standards and qualification requirements.
- Organize and chair multidisciplinary design reviews using MIL-STD, IEEE/IEC, DO-178C, and relevant engineering practices.
- Define system requirements and integrate RF, digital hardware, AI, and embedded control into unified product platforms.
Engineering Delivery
- Lead simulation, testing, and qualification of power electronics, RF systems, and high-speed digital hardware.
- Oversee the firmware and software lifecycle from requirements through verification and certification compliance.
- Design and integrate AI, machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing solutions for real-time analytics, automation, and decision-making.
- Lead advanced research and development initiatives and promote model-based systems engineering and emerging technologies.
Program and Team Support
- Ensure traceable and complete technical documentation across hardware and software domains.
- Coach junior engineers and drive capability development.
- Support technology roadmaps, resource planning, recruitment, and budget alignment.
Experience
- At least eight years of experience in technical project management or embedded electronics development within defence or aerospace, ideally involving missile systems.
- Proven leadership of cross-functional engineering teams.
- Experience delivering electronic subassemblies or complex systems across the full lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of missile or weapon system development and production.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, regulated environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
- PMP certification is desirable.
- Knowledge of hardware, firmware, integration, qualification, verification and validation, and production transition.
- Familiarity with configuration management, technical reviews, milestones, and regulated-environment documentation.
