About the Role
Petrofac is hiring a Senior Quality Engineer for piping and valves with 10+ years of experience in oil & gas. The role involves reviewing procurement documents, coordinating inspections, and ensuring compliance with international codes and standards.

Responsibilities
- Review procurement documents to ensure quality requirements are correctly translated into purchase requisitions and design documents
- List procurement inspection criticality rating for various items and vendor quality requirements
- Review of purchase orders to ensure applicable requirements are met
- Review of supplier ITPs, WPS, Procedures etc. against contract requirements
- Develop project specific QCP/ITP/ITRs for both supplier and site QMS
- Coordinate with Completion team to set up PetroPCS
- Attendance at pre inspection meetings
- Compilation of vendor inspection assignments packages
- Support to conduct supplier capability assessment as assigned
- Control of on site and off site vendor inspectors
- Coordination and resolution of any nonconforming product
- Issue of non conformance reports and track all non conformance reports
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in relevant discipline
- Thorough working knowledge of International Codes and Standards, specifically ASME and API
- Experience in oil & gas/petrochemical industry
- Previously worked with major EPC contractor

Essential Qualifications And Skills
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Must have a thorough working knowledge of International Codes and Standards, specifically ASME and API Codes/practices, and specifications associated with all types of static equipment and piping.
- Familiar with International codes and standards.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in relevant discipline.
- Should have experience in oil & gas/petrochemical industry.
- Should have previously worked with major EPC contractor.
