  • Coordinate electrical services with HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, architectural, structural, and civil teams.
  • Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.

Contractors, Quality, and Safety

  • Manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors and monitor productivity, manpower, workmanship, and progress.
  • Verify quantities, review contractor bills and material reconciliation, and minimize material wastage.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, statutory requirements, inspection procedures, and electrical safety practices.

Testing and Handover

  • Plan and coordinate testing and commissioning of cables, panels, transformers, DGs, UPS, earthing, protection systems, and other equipment.
  • Coordinate with testing agencies, vendors, consultants, and client representatives; review test reports and close observations.
  • Support energization, snagging, rectification, inspections, walkthroughs, and final project handover.

Documentation and Leadership

  • Maintain drawings, SLDs, load schedules, BOQs, material submittals, method statements, ITPs, inspection requests, test reports, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentation.
  • Lead and mentor electrical engineers, supervisors, and site teams and monitor team performance.
  • Attend project meetings, provide technical clarifications, track RFIs and approvals, and prepare progress updates.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of electrical building services, MEP projects, HT/LT distribution, transformers, DGs, UPS, panels, busducts, cables, and protection systems.
  • Knowledge of lighting, small-power systems, earthing, lightning protection, load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop, and equipment selection.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office/Excel, with strong MEP coordination and site execution experience.

Requirements

  • Ability to commute to or relocate to Bengaluru, Karnataka before starting work.
