About the Role

- Ensure all automation systems are installed and configured according to project specifications
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and maintaining automation systems
- Integrate automation systems with client enterprise platforms for real time data visibility
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in automation engineering within the oil & gas industry
- Hands on commissioning and testing experience
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, ABB, Honeywell), SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols

- Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer Commissioning
- The Electrical Automation Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, testing, and commissioning of PLC Based electrical automation systems (Power Management Systems) in the oil & gas facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify requirements and scope of work, review specifications, drawings and other documents of the project and establish applicability to the scope of work.
- Carry out a detailed assessment of the commissioning work involved and assess the available resources and possible constraints in its execution.
- Ability to review contractual documents and identify project requirements and constraints / risks.
- Inspect and ensure all construction related activities are completed prior to taking up the PMS system for commissioning and ensure the setting up of safety mitigation plans for the same.
- Execute the pre commissioning, commissioning, and start up activities for the electrical automation systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during commissioning & start up to ensure smooth system operations.
- Collaborate with EPC Sub contractors, vendors, and Client teams to ensure timely project activities execution.
- Ensure all automation systems are installed and configured according to the project specifications.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and maintaining automation systems.
- Integrate automation systems with client enterprise platforms for real time data visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in automation engineering within the oil & gas industry, with hands on commissioning and testing experience.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, ABB, Honeywell), SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols.
