Job Description

  • The Head of Visa Direct KBO leads the Money Movement sales and commercialization responsibilities across all product suites.
  • Responsibilities include sizing opportunities, building strategy, identifying use cases, and engaging stakeholders.
  • This is a matrixed, cross functional role interfacing with country teams, product groups, and various internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed aggressive sales and revenue targets for the region.
  • Develop business and sales strategy for sales acceleration.
  • Take clients through the sales cycle from prospecting to contracting.
  • Develop and execute the strategy including determining high potential markets, use cases, and verticals.
  • Be a thought leader in developing and deploying solutions in the market.
  • Define market plans for Money Movement with focus on target markets and solutions.
  • Drive three key workstreams: cross sell to existing clients, prospect non Visa clients, and sell to acquirers/processors/Fintechs.
  • Drive pipeline development and review processes.
  • Build the Money Movement team and lead through transformational change.
  • Work with cross functional partners across the region.
  • Create and implement a procedure to gather client feedback.
  • Work with regional and global product teams on issuer readiness and implementation.

Qualifications

  • Creative self starter with a bias toward action and proven track record in commercializing payments technology products.
  • 10+ years of payments related and leadership experience, including at least 5 years in commercialization, product management, strategy, or consulting.
  • Visa and/or payment industry knowledge required; experience with push payments, real time payments, FI solutions strongly preferred.
  • Direct exposure to digital payment solutions, emerging payments domain.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with a strong focus on delivering for clients.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Executive presence – must be able to interface with senior client executives.
  • Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to innovate.
  • Ability to inspire direct reports and influence without direct supervisory responsibility.
  • Strong collaborator, self motivated, and able to work independently.
  • An advanced degree from a top school strongly preferred.

Workplace Policy
