Role Overview
Capgemini is seeking an experienced MES SME, business analyst, or product owner with strong manufacturing domain expertise.
The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams for MES delivery, implementation, and support.
Listed locations include Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the MES subject matter expert for business and IT teams.
- Collaborate with development, support, deployment, and end-user teams.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and user stories.
- Drive user stories, functional design, PRE-ROM, analyst testing, UAT, and release planning documentation.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Support testing, validation, and deployment.
- Align manufacturing processes with MES solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Skills
- Strong MES functional experience with business analysis exposure.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows.
- Knowledge of .NET application testing and debugging.
- Experience with web and Android applications.
- Hands-on experience with Web Services, SOAP UI, and Postman.
- Strong database knowledge with MySQL and Oracle SQL.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience as an MES SME, business analyst, or product owner.
- Strong manufacturing domain expertise.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in requirements gathering, UAT, and release planning.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and HMI integrations.
- Understanding of ISA-95 standards.
- Basic experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of Automated Guided Vehicles.
- Exposure to IIoT and digital manufacturing solutions.
