Capgemini is seeking an experienced MES Subject Matter Expert, Business Analyst, or Product Owner.
The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver, implement, and support MES solutions.
The position supports manufacturing transformation programs and digital manufacturing initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the MES subject matter expert for business and IT teams.
- Collaborate with development, support, deployment, and end users.
- Gather and document business requirements and user stories.
- Prepare functional design documents, testing materials, UAT materials, and release plans.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Support testing, validation, deployment, and issue resolution.
- Align manufacturing processes with MES solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.
Required skills
- Strong MES functional experience with business analysis exposure.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows.
- Knowledge of .NET application testing and debugging.
- Experience with web and Android applications.
- Hands-on experience with web services, SOAP UI, and Postman.
- Strong database knowledge with MySQL and Oracle SQL.
Ideal candidate profile
- Experience as an MES SME, Business Analyst, or Product Owner.
- Strong manufacturing domain expertise.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with requirements gathering, UAT, and release planning.
Additional skills
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and HMI integrations is useful.
- Understanding of ISA-95 standards is useful.
- Basic experience with Power BI or Tableau is useful.
- Knowledge of AGV, IIoT, and digital manufacturing solutions is useful.
