Lead the planning, development, and delivery of complex building projects in Qatar with a strong architectural background.
Drive design excellence, multidisciplinary coordination, and project delivery from concept through construction completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural concepts, design strategies, and detailed design solutions.
- Oversee feasibility, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction support.
- Manage scope, budgets, schedules, resources, progress, and corrective actions.
- Lead and mentor architects, designers, and technical staff.
- Coordinate clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, and project stakeholders.
- Review technical submissions, drawings, specifications, schedules, and construction documentation.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, authority requirements, industry codes, and project standards.
- Identify risks and design challenges and support value engineering initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related discipline is required.
- A master's degree is an advantage, and professional architectural registration is preferred.
- At least 10 years of professional architectural experience with design management and project leadership exposure.
- Track record delivering medium- to large-scale building developments and managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Previous GCC experience, particularly in Qatar, is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methodologies, and project delivery processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Navisworks, and BIM platforms.
- Understanding of local building regulations, international design standards, and construction best practices.
- Experience reviewing technical documentation and construction drawings.
