About the Role

- Review credit applications for Wholesale Banking, including new finance requests, annual reviews, and interim requests
- Ensure facilities purpose and structure align with customer financing requirements and repayment capacity
- Establish effective communication with Business to understand client needs and ensure due diligence
- Monitor early warning indicators and report trigger breaches to Regional Risk Manager
- Ensure compliance with bank credit policies and central bank regulations
- Participate in projects to streamline and improve processes
Requirements
- Minimum 8 10 years of Corporate Banking experience
- Experience in credit review and risk assessment
- Knowledge of ADIB credit policies and procedures

Role Purpose
- Responsible for reviewing credit applications for Wholesale Banking
- Evaluate individual credit requests for new and existing corporate clients
- Ensure all credit applications are in line with ADIB credit policies and procedures
- Present recommendations to Senior Credit Officers
Key Accountabilities
- Review all new finance requests, annual reviews, and interim requests and provide credit recommendation
- Ensure facilities purpose and structure are in line with customer financing requirements and repayment capacity
- Establish effective communication with Business to understand client needs and ensure robust due diligence
- Ensure appropriate risks/mitigation analysis and adequate sources of repayment
- Ensure Credit Policy and TM/RAC adherence and highlight deviations
- Conduct joint customer site visits with Regional Risk Manager when required
- Monitor early warning indicators and report trigger breaches
- Ensure strict compliance with bank credit policies and central bank regulations
- Monitor post disbursement, past dues, and TOD reports and oversee collection
- Participate in projects that streamline and improve processes
- Prepare and update Risk & Control Self Assessment (RCSA)
- Help prepare periodic portfolio reviews
Previous Experience
- Minimum of 8 10 years of Corporate Banking experience
