Role overview
Supports a diverse portfolio of large-scale construction projects, including data centers, commercial real estate, high-tech, and semiconductor manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities
- Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Prepare and present cost plans, estimates, forecasts, and executive summaries.
- Review design and contractor estimates, reconcile cost data, and coordinate cost information from project sources.
- Manage cost checks, valuations, post-contract variances, change control, contingencies, and commitment tracking.
- Prepare funding presentations and coordinate value engineering sessions.
- Review contractor and subcontractor pricing and lead client negotiations.
- Produce monthly cost reports, manage final accounts, audits, and account closeouts.
- Maintain benchmarking records, business management systems, financial reports, and delivery methodologies.
- Identify, coach, and mentor talent while providing leadership and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a construction-related field.
- At least 5-7 years of relevant construction industry cost management experience.
- Experience leading cost management on medium or large, medium- to high-complexity construction projects.
- Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred.
- RICS accreditation or progress toward accreditation is preferred.
- Good knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
- Excellent communication skills.
Workplace
- The role supports projects in the Phoenix, Arizona area and other regional locations.
- On-site presence and requirements may change depending on client needs.
