- Prepare findings with high quality materials and present insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Lead ad hoc research requests within Corporate Planning, analyzing the industry, market, and competitors.
- Develop innovative concepts to support and enhance future strategic options within Qatar Airways.
- Support preparation of long term planning and evaluation of key strategic decisions.
- Analyze investment proposals including new products and services.
- Assess initiatives to improve demand and market positioning.
- Evaluate measures to enhance profitability.
- Evaluate aircraft and cabin options in support of fleet planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Statistics or related field
- Minimum 2 3 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, in house corporate strategy, or related field at a leading organization
- Experience in conducting detailed analyses, preparation of high quality presentations, and effective communication across multiple levels
- Demonstrated understanding of commercial aviation economics and interest in the industry
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills with ability to manipulate large volumes of data
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools
- Ability to work in a multi cultural team and under pressure and tight deadlines
- Excellent command of spoken and written English

About the role
- Qatar Airways is seeking to recruit a Senior Corporate Planning Analyst to join our Corporate Strategy team within the Corporate Planning Department to be based in Doha, Qatar.
- As a Senior Corporate Planning Analyst, you will be tasked with jointly developing medium and long term strategic initiatives, working on critical projects with wide reaching impact, conduct day to day industry analyses, and support ad hoc tasks for management.
- Within a complex data environment, tasks will involve a combination of sound analytic processing and market research to support informed decision making for Senior Management.

About you
