Responsibilities

  • Advises on contractual matters and manages contractual correspondences in accordance with Prime Contract Terms and Conditions, specifications and drawings including construction change orders.
  • Manages contractual commitments and performance of work according to Client's instructions, Specifications and Drawings, and Terms and Conditions of the Contract, including construction Change Orders.
  • Assisting clients with preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims or responding to Contractor's EOT claims.
  • Review and interpret contract documents, contract time schedule, as built time schedule and verify actual dates, list of delay events and identify priorities with Client.
  • Identify and assess project delays by analyzing schedules, progress reports, and relevant documentation.
  • Utilize delay analysis methodologies to quantify impact of delays on project schedules and costs.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate and manage risks that could impact project timelines and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare delay reports and documentation to support claims or dispute resolution processes.
  • Provides high quality advice on all pre contract contractual matters including procurement and contracting strategy and tactics.
  • Manage contract variations and change orders, documenting and communicating changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitors, evaluates and prepares fully supported estimates and claims for alternations/variations to the Contract.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in Managing the contractual commitments.
  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering / Bachelor of Laws or related.
  • Mandatory Membership: Being MRICS Chartered (Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors).
