Senior Consultant, Cloud Architect - Professional Services, AWS Professional Services - Telco

Description

• AWS is currently hiring highly technical a Senior ProServe Cloud Architect that works hand-in-hand with customers to deeply understand their needs and design innovative, tailored cloud solutions.
• This role operates as the conduit between ProServe Account Executives and Shared Delivery Teams, ensuring proposed solutions are realistic, achievable, and optimized to maximize customer business outcomes.

• Key job responsibilities
• Solution Design: Creating and leading complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions to deliver customer business outcomes (CBOs)
• Technical Guidance: Providing technical expertise and best practices during pre-sales and implementation phases
• Customer Advisory: Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions to address their challenges
• Collaboration: Working closely with Account Managers and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievable
• Knowledge Sharing: Mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts within the organization to drive process improvements
• Business Translation: Translating technical concepts into business value for both technical and non-technical audiences

About The Team

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
• 7+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience
• 3+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience
• 7+ years of cloud and on-premise integration experience
• Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Professional level certification, or degree in advanced technology
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in telecommunications industry, including understanding of telco-specific workloads, OSS/BSS systems, network functions virtualization (NFV), and 5G architecture
• Strong communication skills with executive presence and presentation capabilities
• Experience in consulting business and working at the CxO level
