About the Role

Responsibilities
- Own the success of a portfolio of ISV accounts, working backwards from each customer's strategic milestones
- Lead roadmap to outcome alignment sessions, Executive Briefing Sessions, and go live milestones
- Help ISVs build governance, operating models, and data infrastructure for long term transformation
- Support customers in adopting generative AI and agentic capabilities
- Serve as connective tissue between ISV customers and AWS teams (Sales, Solutions Architecture, Support, Professional Services, Partner teams)
- Contribute to account planning, translating strategic goals into executable actions
- Identify and remove systemic barriers that slow customer progress
- Lead director level engagements, co innovation workshops, and strategic planning sessions
- Help translate complex AI and cloud solutions into business cases for senior stakeholders
- Maintain structured cadence through reporting, tracking, and health monitoring across portfolio
- Proactively identify risks and drive mitigation plans
- Contribute to repeatable mechanisms and internal enablement
Requirements
- 5+ years of leading large scale, technical or engineering programs with proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion
- Experience in customer facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud

Description
- AWS Canada is looking for a Customer Success Manager (CSM) to join the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) team.
- Role at intersection of technology strategy, business transformation, and customer partnership.
- You will own the success of a portfolio of Canadian ISVs navigating multi year cloud, SaaS, and AI transformation journeys.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Drive Customer Outcomes: Own success of ISV accounts, lead roadmap to outcome sessions, help build governance and operating models, support AI adoption.
- Orchestrate Across AWS: Serve as connective tissue, contribute to account planning, identify and remove systemic barriers.
- Lead Strategic Engagements: Lead director level engagements, translate complex solutions into business cases, support critical decision points.
- Manage with Rigor: Maintain structured cadence, apply measurement frameworks, proactively identify risks.
- Raise the Bar Internally: Challenge conventional thinking, bring best of AWS to customers, contribute to repeatable mechanisms.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years leading large scale technical or engineering programs with thought leadership and business case development.
- Experience in customer facing work with executives and technologists.
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect) or similar cloud certification.
Compensation
- Base salary range: CAN, ON, Toronto 99,900.00 166,900.00 CAD annually.
- Total compensation may include sign on payments and RSUs.
- Benefits include health insurance, RRSP, DPSP, paid time off.
