Senior Compliance Officer — AML/KYC & Corporate Regulatory

About The Role

• We're hiring a Senior Compliance Officer to build and lead our compliance function at GCG Structuring.
• This is a strategic, build-from-scratch position with a clear path to becoming Head of Compliance within 12–18 months — and eventually running compliance as a standalone service line.

Aml And Kyc

• Design, implement, and maintain AML/KYC policies and procedures
• Conduct enhanced due diligence (EDD) on high-risk clients
• Monitor transactions and flag suspicious activity
• File STRs (Suspicious Transaction Reports) with the FIU
• Ensure compliance with UAE AML/CFT regulations (Cabinet Decision No. 74/2018)

Corporate Regulatory

• Ensure compliance across all UAE jurisdictions (Mainland, Free Zones, DIFC, ADGM)
• Manage regulatory filings, renewals, and reporting requirements
• Liaise with regulatory bodies (CBUAE, DFSA, SCAs, Free Zone authorities)
• Maintain corporate governance standards across group entities
• Oversee UBO declarations and beneficial ownership registers

Advisory & Client-Facing

• Advise clients on compliance requirements for UAE setups
• Conduct compliance health checks and gap analyses
• Prepare clients for regulatory inspections
• Create compliance documentation and client guidance materials

Internal & Training

• Train staff on AML/KYC awareness and procedures
• Build a compliance culture across the organization
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments
• Maintain compliance manuals and SOPs

Growth Path

Must-Have

• 5+ years in UAE compliance (AML/KYC, corporate regulatory, or both)
• Proven track record in building or scaling compliance functions
• Deep knowledge of the UAE AML/CFT framework (Cabinet Decision 74/2018, CBUAE guidelines)
• Experience with Free Zone, Mainland, DIFC, and ADGM regulations
• Strong understanding of:

• UAE regulatory landscape (CBUAE, DFSA, SCAs, Free Zone authorities)

• International AML standards (FATF recommendations)
• 3.
• Corporate governance and beneficial ownership requirements

• Bilingual: English + Russian (preferred) or Arabic

• Ability to explain complex regulations simply
