Deriv is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to strengthen compliance across regulated financial operations.
The role uses AI-enhanced tooling, continuous monitoring, automated screening, and audit trails to assess issues and support defensible decisions.
Core responsibilities
- Investigate flagged accounts and transaction activity to identify compliance concerns.
- Conduct customer due diligence reviews against policy and regulatory requirements.
- Review high-value deposits and withdrawals using transaction histories and AI-powered procedures.
- Screen clients against PEP lists, sanctions databases, and adverse media.
- Prepare compliance reports and support regulatory filings.
- Partner with operational and product teams to improve processes and resolve complex compliance questions.
Qualifications
- University degree in finance, economics, law, risk management, criminology, business studies, data science, management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of compliance experience in financial services, fintech, investment services, or another regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, customer due diligence, transaction reviews, and sanctions screening.
- Strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and comfort working with complex datasets.
- Clear English communication, attention to detail, sound judgment, and professional confidence.
