Role Overview
Penspen is seeking a Senior Civil / Structural Engineer to provide structural engineering oversight for onshore facilities.
The role supports major oil and gas and petrochemical projects through design review, procurement, construction, and contractor performance monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Provide structural engineering oversight and technical review of EPC contractor deliverables for onshore facilities.
- Review structural design calculations, general arrangement drawings, steel and concrete detailing, and foundation design packages.
- Ensure structural integrity, constructability, and seismic compliance of facilities.
- Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and value engineering sessions.
- Provide technical support during procurement and construction, including review of material submittals and structural method statements.
- Monitor EPC contractor performance for schedule adherence and quality of deliverables.
Experience and Education
- Twelve years of experience are required, including six years in civil or structural engineering for major onshore oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
- Experience with structural design calculations, general arrangement drawings, steel and concrete detailing, and foundation design packages is required.
