Role Overview
Drive revenue growth and expand shipping and freight forwarding operations across the Middle East region.
Identify market opportunities, build enterprise partnerships, and lead the commercial strategy for high-value logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue enterprise business opportunities and strategic accounts in shipping and freight forwarding.
- Develop sales strategies for LCL, FCL, air freight, and customs brokerage services across the UAE and GCC.
- Manage relationships with major clients, freight forwarders, and logistics partners through site visits and negotiations.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals while protecting profitability and company standards.
- Work with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to deliver new-account services and maintain client satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing dynamics to inform strategy.
Requirements
- Bring 5-8 years of business development or sales experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics.
- Demonstrate enterprise deal-closing experience and revenue growth, ideally including 20% or more annual growth.
- Have deep knowledge of LCL, FCL, air freight, sea freight, and freight forwarding operations.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with C-level executives and procurement teams.
- Have experience with CRM systems, sales pipeline management, Microsoft Office, and data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of customs regulations, Incoterms, and Middle East trade compliance is desirable.
- An existing network in the GCC logistics and shipping industry is desirable.
