Role Overview
Own vendor relationships and supply chain operations supporting retail operations.
Drive improvements in efficiency, profitability, delivery performance, product quality, and supplier partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage key vendor relationships through regular performance reviews and negotiations.
- Implement vendor management practices and process improvements that reduce costs, minimize waste, and accelerate delivery.
- Monitor on-time delivery, quality, and responsiveness metrics and address performance gaps.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and merchandising teams on vendor strategies and seasonal demand forecasts.
- Identify and evaluate new vendors to diversify the supply base and introduce innovative products or cost-saving solutions.
- Maintain vendor scorecards and documentation and report performance, savings, and supply chain efficiency to leadership.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, supply chain, or retail operations.
- Proven success negotiating contracts and delivering measurable cost reductions or efficiency improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and vendor performance tracking systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for vendor relationships and conflict resolution.
