Role Overview
Provide occupational therapy services in an onsite clinical environment in Dubai.
Help patients improve functional independence and quality of life through evidence-based interventions.
Work with varied patient populations and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities and limitations.
- Develop individualized plans focused on daily living, work capacity, and community participation.
- Lead therapeutic sessions using evidence-based techniques, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications.
- Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Document progress, maintain clinical records, and prepare insurance and healthcare reports.
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, home safety, and equipment use.
Requirements
- Hold a valid DHA Occupational Therapist license or professional eligibility letter before starting.
- Have a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy at minimum; a master's degree is preferred.
- Have three to seven years of clinical occupational therapy experience.
- Demonstrate knowledge of assessment tools and treatment modalities.
- Have excellent English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
- Experience with diverse populations or multicultural healthcare settings is a nice-to-have.
- Specialized certification in hand therapy, neurorehabilitation, or pediatric OT is a nice-to-have.
