Job Summary

  • The Senior Bartender is responsible for overseeing bar operations, preparing and serving beverages, maintaining high service standards, and supporting the bar team to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • The role includes supervising bartenders and bar backs, managing inventory, ensuring compliance with company standards, and contributing to revenue growth through beverage sales and guest engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards.
  • Ensure efficient and smooth bar operations during service periods and maintain high standards of beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve service related issues professionally.
  • Ensure the bar is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
  • Supervise, guide, and support bartenders and bar backs.
  • Assist in training new team members on beverage preparation, service standards, and company policies.
  • Delegate tasks and monitor team performance during shifts.
  • Monitor stock levels and place replenishment requests when necessary and minimize wastage and control beverage costs.
  • Ensure proper storage and rotation of beverages and bar supplies.
  • Recommend beverages and upsell premium products to guests.
  • Build positive relationships with guests and create memorable experiences.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of bartending experience, preferably in a high volume restaurant, lounge, or bar.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage trends.
  • Experience in inventory management and cost control.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
