Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced and professional

Senior Manager – Audit & Operations

to oversee operational delivery across the firm’s key departments:

Assurance, Accounting, Tax, and Internal Audit

.

The role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, strong audit knowledge, and the ability to manage workflow, team productivity, compliance, and client delivery.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for coordinating with external auditors and ensuring high-quality file standards in line with ISA and IFRS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operational delivery across Assurance, Accounting, Tax, and Internal Audit departments.
  • Lead and coordinate with external auditors when required.
  • Monitor audit turnaround times and ensure compliance with agreed timelines.
  • Manage WIP, workflow control, and assignment progress across teams.
  • Ensure audit files and deliverables comply with ISA, IFRS, and internal quality standards.
  • Review file quality and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
  • Handle client escalations and ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor team performance, productivity, and workload allocation.
  • Coordinate between departments to ensure smooth delivery and adherence to SOPs.
  • Support senior leadership in improving operational processes and service quality.
  • Ensure teams follow internal policies, reporting structures, and delivery standards.

Key Requirements

  • **Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in audit, assurance, operations, or professional services in the UAE.**
  • Mandatory Big 4 or Big 10 background.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Fluent English communication is mandatory.
  • Presentable, professional, and confident in client-facing situations.
  • Strong knowledge of ISA, IFRS, audit processes, and file quality standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple departments and drive operational efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage escalations.
