Job Purpose

  • Provides technical acumen and specialist support to strategic workforce planning and organization design; acts as trusted partner to line managers, HC management, stakeholders, business partners and Finance for strategy formulation and control of decided actions mainly related to workforce planning,

Key Accountabilities

  • Supports development and updating of strategic workforce planning and organisational design framework
  • Provides guidance and on the job training for junior colleagues
  • Monitors financial performance versus budgets and reports variances
  • Recommends improvements and implements policies, systems, and procedures
  • Gathers data from HC stakeholders and SAP for annual workforce plan
  • Conducts integrated annual WFP exercise for assigned area
  • Computes regular, contractor, and overtime FTE costings
  • Validates and processes PAFs and PRFs
  • Participates in developing OD framework and generating proposed structures using OrgPlus
  • Provides cost impact analysis to stakeholders

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration or equivalent
  • 6 years relevant experience in Human Resources Management including supervisory/managerial responsibilities
  • Knowledge of workforce planning, organisation structure development practices
  • Knowledge of change management principles
  • Knowledge/understanding of UAE labour law
  • Budgeting, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, negotiation, planning, communication, teamwork, people management, stakeholder management skills

Authority/Decision Making

  • Works within set guidelines, policies and procedures; proposes/makes decisions to resolve conflicting issues in partnership with business areas
  • Actions impacting other functional areas usually require approval before implementation
