- Measure the impact of new features using data and analytical thinking.
- Shape the strategic roadmap for Lyft's global expansion, premium modes, and autonomous vehicles.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to build the roadmap for business and product expansion.
- Define Lyft's strategy for where and how Lyft expands its footprint around the world.
- Size the opportunity and scope the unique products required for international markets.
- Act as a liaison to central marketplace teams.
- Analyze competitive landscape in future geographies to inform growth strategy.
- Develop product developments needed to successfully expand and gain market share.
- Align global expansion with autonomous hybrid marketplace growth plans.
Requirements
- 6+ years experience in management consulting, strategic data science/analytics roles in a technology company, or equivalent analytical role in a high growth startup
- Experience in leading high visibility projects and influencing others in a cross functional team environment
- Experience in communicating with and presenting to senior leaders and data storytelling
- Strong ability in building decision making frameworks and data analysis
- Ability to independently break down large datasets and synthesize inputs from multiple sources
- Ability to think strategically about complex and unstructured business problems
- Ability to craft a compelling story and concisely present recommendations
- Ability to manage, influence, negotiate, and inspire others in a fast moving and ambiguous environment
- Proficiency in SQL
- Strong product and user experience sense

Role Overview
- Data is at the heart of Lyft’s products and decision making. You will leverage data and rigorous, analytical thinking to shape our products and make business decisions.
- This will involve performing rigorous product deep dives, identifying opportunities for product enhancements, and measuring the impact of new features.
- The Global Growth organization is chartering the future for Lyft’s growth, focused on expanding Lyft beyond North American rideshare’s core products.

Experience

- Strong ability in building decision making frameworks and data analysis, able to understand business issues, analyze large amounts of data, and draw actionable conclusions.

Salary Range
- The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto area is CAD 129,000 CAD 161,250, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
