Role Overview
The Senior Accountant will join the Finance team and support general accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
The role requires accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger entries, accruals, adjustments, and account reconciliations.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting.
- Assist with VAT/ZATCA requirements and internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, accounting policies, and internal controls.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems is preferred.
- SOCPA, CMA, CPA, or ACCA certification is advantageous.
