- UAE accounting experience required
- Experience with Sage or similar accounting/ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, ESR, UBO and other FTA compliance

Job Purpose
- This role will be responsible for overseeing day to day accounting activities, monthly and quarterly reporting, payroll related accounting, vendor payments, budgeting support, VAT compliance and other finance related activities.
- As the business expands, the role is expected to support broader finance responsibilities, including invoicing, receivables, commercial accounting and possible ERP transition.
- The company is currently using Sage Accounting & Payroll systems.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a senior or supervisory accounting role.
- Strong experience in financial accounting, month end and year end closing, payments, reconciliations, payroll accounting, budgeting, and VAT.
- UAE accounting experience is required.
- Experience with Sage or similar accounting / ERP systems is required.
- Exposure to SAP or ERP migration projects will be an advantage.
- Experience in a multinational or regional office environment will be preferred.
- Experience in a trading, automotive, motorcycle, or commercial business environment will be an added advantage.
- Experience in asset control, stock taking and support for internal admin / business projects will be an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong accounting knowledge and sound understanding of financial controls
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, ESR, UBO and other FTA compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good presentation preparation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and accounting systems
- Strong sense of responsibility, confidentiality and ownership
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
