Role Purpose
Scrutinize payment requests, petty cash claims, and documents from IBUILD Group.
Ensure expenditure is properly documented, justifiable, and relevant to the business.
Key Accountabilities
- Review financial transactions and ensure accurate account information is included.
- Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintain accounting controls through policies and procedures.
- Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
- Investigate financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Review payments, verify documentation, and request disbursements for group companies.
- Protect confidential financial information and maintain customer confidence.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networks, and professional societies.
- Contribute to team results by completing related work.
- Review asset, liability, and capital account entries by analyzing account information.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
- 7 or more years of relevant experience in accounting and/or corporate finance.
- Experience in GCC contracting companies is preferred.
- Ability to operate independently and under supervision.
- Confidentiality, discretion, interpersonal communication, written communication, and organizational skills are required.
- Excellent PC skills, including MS Office products, and strong attention to detail are required.
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and meet deadlines.
