BAYAN MEDICAL COMPANY is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai.
The role manages financial transactions, accounting records, reporting, reconciliations, audits, budgets, tax returns, and regulatory compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and review balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial statements.
- Ensure reports comply with accounting standards including GAAP and IFRS.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure transactions are recorded and reconciled.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial accounts.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze financial data and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations.
- Monitor costs and identify improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and file tax returns and track changes in tax laws.
- Improve accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- CPA or CA certification is mandatory.
- 5–7 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency is mandatory.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics.
