Role Overview
Royal Joinery operates a dedicated workshop focused on carpentry and woodwork projects across multiple sectors.
The company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support financial operations, reporting, compliance, and management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and general ledger activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure financial records are accurate.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audit processes.
- Maintain and improve accounting systems and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in construction, fit-out, or joinery is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
